Small, convenient, on the beach, ample parking. Beach was easy to access, room was not fancy, but clean…loved the walk in shower! The bed was on the firm side, but worked for us. the towels were decent. There was no housekeeping during our stay but we were advised of this when the reservation was made and again at checkin. We were able to get clean towels and toiletries as needed. The property was clean and appeared that renovations are ongoing. the price was right! We would stay again if in this area. As a plus, when making the reservation, I requested a handicap accessible room. I received a call from Neil at the property the next day who advised there wasn’t a handicap room available, but asked if a ground floor room with a walk in shower would be adequate (which was for us). He also made sure our extended family was in the room next door. Great customer service!

The hospitality of the manager was outstanding. The housekeeping personnel was exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and helpful. We just had to walk along the "balcony" that leads to the rooms in order to have a spectacular view of the ocean. From there we could even see the litter guard tower and the flag stating if it was safe to swim in the ocean. The location can't be any more perfect. It's right by the quiet beach. Just a few miles down is the famous and overcrowded Daytona Beach. In Ormond Beach it was never crowded.

The motel is taking Covid precautions, the office is not open and you are served by a walk up window, Also they are not offering daily room clean up but that's fine with us; just let the office know if you need extra towels or coffee station supplies. The office staff was friendly and helpful in recommending area restaurants. We live on the Gulf Coast and enjoy coming to the Atlantic for the ocean waves. Would stay again

Please note: due to hurricane damage the pool and beach access is closed temporarily, but looks to being open in the near future. There is beach access right around the corner though .
